Road freight, groupage, container movements and customs documentation

East Flanders, between Ghent and Antwerp

Who we are

Built around international road freight

NORDICWAY TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS BV is a Belgian road freight and logistics company registered under company number 1095715859, based at Raveschoot 22, 9080 Lochristi. We arrange international transport and logistics services for shippers across Europe: full truck load, groupage, container movements and the customs paperwork that goes with them.

The operation runs from Lochristi, in East Flanders, which places us between the port of Antwerp-Bruges and the industrial zones around Ghent. We are small enough that the people who quote your shipment are the people who know its status, and connected enough through partner networks to cover lanes beyond our own regular routes. When you call, you reach the desk that is actually planning the load.

Most of our work starts with a simple question from a shipper: can you move this, when, and at what cost. Answering it well means knowing the road, the border, the loading point and the paperwork. That is the job we have built the company around.

Company registration and legal identity

These details appear on our invoices, transport documents and correspondence, so partners and customers can verify who they are dealing with before a load moves. If you need a copy of our registration data for your supplier file, the details below are the ones that apply.

Nothing here is presented as a certification or a licence. It is the company record: who the legal entity is, what it does, and where it is registered in Belgium.

Management

A named contact at the decision level

The company is directed by De Wilde Lindsay and De Groote Ellen, who are responsible for commercial and operational decisions. In practice, that means enquiries, rate approvals and any question about how a job is being handled reach the management level directly rather than disappearing into a call centre.

For partners and freight forwarders who need a named contact, this is where to start. Ask for either director by name and you will be routed to someone who can decide on the spot, including on exceptions such as an urgent collection or a change of delivery window.

Where we are based

Lochristi sits on the E17 corridor between Ghent and Antwerp, a short drive from both the Ghent industrial areas and the Antwerp port complex. That location shapes the work: port-linked container trucking, regional distribution, and international departures heading south and east into France and Germany.

It also means we can reach most East Flanders loading points without a long repositioning run, which keeps short-notice collections realistic. If your warehouse or terminal is inside that band, say so when you send an enquiry and we will tell you honestly how quickly a unit can be there.

  • Ghent industrial areas and regional distribution East Flanders
  • International departures into France Southbound
  • International departures into Germany Eastbound

How we work with partners

We combine our own planning and customer contact with a network of vetted carriers for lanes and equipment outside our direct operation. That lets us quote destinations we do not run weekly, without overstating what we own. When a movement is subcontracted, we say so. The customer keeps one point of contact and one invoice, and the responsibility for the job stays with us regardless of whose trailer is under it.

One point of contact

You speak to the same desk from quote to delivery confirmation, including when part of the journey runs on a partner's trailer.

Honest about scope

If a lane or a piece of equipment is outside our direct operation, we say so before we quote, and explain who will actually run it.

Documents travel with the load

CMR, customs paperwork and delivery confirmations are checked before departure, not chased after the truck has left the yard.

What we do not claim to be

We are not a global forwarder with offices on every continent, and we do not pretend to be. We do not run a parcel courier network, and we do not offer warehousing in every country under our own name.

What we do is plan and manage international road freight competently, including the customs documentation, and tell customers clearly when a requirement falls outside that scope. That honesty saves time for everyone involved: you know early whether to keep looking, and we avoid promising a job we would have to hand to someone else without saying so.

  • 01 International road freight across Europe, planned from Lochristi.
  • 02 Customs documentation handled with the load, not after it.
  • 03 A clear answer when something is not ours to promise.

Contact and enquiries

Enquiries go to the dispatch desk at [email protected] or by phone on 953482109. Our postal address is Raveschoot 22, 9080 Lochristi, Belgium, and the desk is open Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.

When you send a shipment enquiry, include collection and delivery addresses, cargo details, weights, dimensions and your deadline, and you will get a rate and transit time back rather than a request for more information. If the load needs customs handling, mention the goods and the destination country so the documentation can be checked at the same time as the rate.

For partner enquiries, ask for De Wilde Lindsay or De Groote Ellen by name and explain which lanes or equipment you need. If your requirement sits outside our direct operation, we will tell you which part we can run ourselves and which part would be subcontracted.
